AI image generator

Most AI image generator tools hand you a PNG and stop there. The part that costs you an afternoon is what comes after — upscaling it, cutting the background, fixing the one hand that came out wrong, then getting it into whatever you were actually making. uooki keeps all of that in the same session.

What you can ask for

One sentence each. The result lands in the canvas beside the conversation, and stays editable from there.

Generate from a description

A poster set, a menu layout, a moodboard, an infographic from a report. Aspect ratio and count are part of the sentence, not a form.

Upscale

Take something small or soft and bring it up to a size you can actually print or ship.

Remove the background

Cut the subject out. Useful the moment an image has to sit on a coloured section of a page.

Repaint part of it

Point at a region and describe what should be there instead, rather than regenerating the whole image and losing the parts that were right.

How a session actually goes

The difference from a one-shot generator is that step 3 exists at all — the image is still in a workspace, not in your downloads folder.

  1. 01

    Describe it

Plain sentence. "A product launch poster set for a matte-black espresso grinder, three sizes, warm neutral palette, no stock photography."

  2. 02

Look at it in the canvas

The image opens beside the conversation. Nothing has been downloaded yet, and nothing is final.

  3. 03

    Keep working on it

Upscale, cut the background, repaint a region — each one is another sentence in the same conversation, and each result replaces the previous in the canvas.

  4. 04

    Put it somewhere

Download it, or ask for the landing page / deck that it belongs in. The image is already in the session, so it goes in without a re-upload.

What "free AI image generator" usually leaves out

Almost every free AI image generator is free for the generation and priced for everything around it. The common shapes: a watermark unless you upgrade, a resolution cap that makes the output fine on a screen and useless in print, a queue that puts free users behind paying ones, and a licence that quietly forbids commercial use. None of those show up in the phrase "free" — you find them at the moment you try to use the file.

The other thing left out is sign-up. "No sign up" usually means you can generate once from the marketing page, and the second image asks for an account anyway. That is a fair trade, but it is worth knowing which one you are getting before you build a workflow on it.

uooki's free tier is 100 credits (one-time), no card, and it is the same product paying users get — the credits are the only limit. Generation and the editing steps draw from the same balance, so you can run one real job to completion instead of only seeing the first frame.

Where an image generator stops being enough

A generator is judged on one frame: you type, it draws, you keep or discard. That is the right shape when the image is the whole job — a wallpaper, an avatar, one hero shot.

It is the wrong shape when the image is a part of something. A launch poster needs three sizes. A menu layout needs the same treatment on every section. A landing page needs the illustration to sit on the page, not next to it. In those jobs the generation is maybe a fifth of the work, and the other four-fifths is moving the file between four tools that do not know about each other.

That is the case uooki is built for: the image, the edits, and the thing the image goes into are one session, and every step is replayable.

Frequently asked

Is there a free AI image generator tier?
Yes — Free gives you 100 credits (one-time), no card. Generation and the editing steps both draw from the same credit balance, so the free tier is enough to run a real job end to end rather than only the first frame.
What does it cost after that?
Starter is $12.9/mo ($9.9/mo billed yearly) for 5,000 credits/mo; Pro is $25.9/mo ($19.9/mo yearly) for 10,000 credits/mo. Images and edits both spend credits, so a session with a lot of retouching costs more than a single generation.
Can I edit an image I already have?
Yes. Attach it and describe the change. Upscale, background removal and region repainting all work on an uploaded image, not only on ones generated in the session.
Do I have to download the image to use it?
No, and that is the point. If the next thing you need is a landing page, a deck or a report that contains the image, ask for that in the same conversation — the image is already in the session and goes in without a re-upload.
Can I get a specific aspect ratio or size?
Say it in the sentence — "three sizes, square, portrait and a wide banner" works. Asking afterwards works too, because the image is still in the session; you are not re-generating from scratch, you are asking for another crop of the same job.
Is the output watermarked?
No. What comes back on the free tier is the same file a paying account gets. The credit balance is the difference between the tiers, not the output.
Which model does it use?
Routing is per-task rather than a model picker: generation, upscaling, background removal and inpainting each go to whichever model is configured for that job, and the configuration changes as models do. You describe the outcome; picking the model is not your problem.
