AI presentation maker

The hard part of an AI presentation maker is never the first draft — it is the twenty minutes after, when one number is wrong on slide 6 and the tool wants you to regenerate the whole deck to fix it. uooki hands back a deck you can edit slide by slide, and exports to PowerPoint when you are done.

What you can ask for

One sentence each. The deck opens in the canvas beside the conversation and stays editable there.

A pitch deck from an idea

Problem, wedge, how it works, traction, ask. You supply the substance in a sentence or two; the structure is not something you should have to specify.

A board update from rough notes

Paste the notes. What comes back is the shape a board expects — what changed, what it cost, what you need — rather than your notes with a template around them.

A sales deck for one buyer

Same product, different room. Ask for the version aimed at a security reviewer and you get different slides, not the same slides retitled.

A deck from a report you already wrote

Attach the document. The deck is a compression of it, and the numbers come from the file rather than from a guess.

How a session actually goes

Step 3 is the one most tools do not have: the deck is still editable where it sits, without a round trip through a download.

  1. 01

    Describe it

"A 10-slide investor deck for a seed-stage AI SaaS company, quiet and typographic, no stock photography."

  2. 02

    Read it in the canvas

The deck opens beside the conversation, one slide at a time or as a strip. Nothing has been downloaded, and nothing is locked.

  3. 03

    Fix it in place

Click into a slide and edit the text directly, or ask in the conversation for a change that spans the whole deck — "cut slide 4, and make every header sentence case".

  4. 04

    Take it with you

Export to PPTX and finish it in PowerPoint or Keynote, or open the deck in its own tab and send that link instead.

What "exports to PowerPoint" is usually hiding

Almost every AI presentation maker claims a PowerPoint export. The question worth asking is what the deck was before the export ran. If the tool renders slides as images and then wraps them in a .pptx, you get a file that opens in PowerPoint and cannot be edited in it — every slide is one picture. That is a screenshot with a different extension.

The other common shape is a proprietary editor: the deck is genuinely editable, but only inside their web app, and the export is a one-way door you take at the end. Fine, until the person who has to present it does not have an account.

uooki builds the deck as HTML — real text in real elements — which is why you can click into a slide and retype a line without regenerating anything. The PPTX export converts that structure, so what lands in PowerPoint is text you can keep editing.

Where a deck is not the deliverable

A surprising number of "I need a deck" jobs are not deck jobs. A pricing comparison somebody will read alone at their desk is a page, not a presentation. A weekly number that changes is a dashboard. A recruiting pitch that needs to be linkable and indexable is a website.

Because the deck, the page and the dashboard all come out of the same session here, changing your mind is a sentence rather than a restart — "actually make this a landing page instead" keeps the content and drops the slide frame.

Frequently asked

Is there a free AI presentation maker tier?
Yes — Free gives you 100 credits (one-time), no card. Generating a deck and revising it both draw from the same balance, so the free tier covers a real deck rather than only the first draft.
What does it cost after that?
Starter is $12.9/mo ($9.9/mo billed yearly) for 5,000 credits/mo; Pro is $25.9/mo ($19.9/mo yearly) for 10,000 credits/mo.
Can I edit the slides, or only regenerate them?
Both. Small fixes — a wrong number, a clumsy line — you type directly into the slide. Changes that span the deck are easier to ask for in the conversation, because they apply everywhere at once.
Does the PPTX export keep the text editable?
Yes. The deck is HTML with real text elements, and the export converts that structure rather than flattening slides to images — so the file that opens in PowerPoint is still a deck, not a stack of pictures.
Can I send it without exporting?
Open the deck in its own tab and share that link. Useful when the reader only needs to look at it once and you would rather not attach a file.
Can I start from a document I already have?
Attach it and say what the deck is for. Working from a real source is the case where these tools are most useful and least likely to invent a number.
