Lovable AI app builder alternative

Most people looking for a Lovable AI app builder alternative are looking for one of two things: a lower monthly floor, or a tool that does more than build web apps. Here is how uooki compares on both, with Lovable's numbers read from its own pricing page on 2026-07-29.

Where Lovable is the better pick

Lovable is a focused web-app builder with a mature team story around it, and the focus shows. If your work is specifically building and shipping web applications with other people, its per-member credit limits, role-based access, SSO on the Business tier and custom-domain support are built for exactly that and uooki does not match them feature for feature.

The credit-expiry rule cuts both ways and is worth reading carefully before you buy annually: Lovable states monthly credits expire two months after issue and annual credits one month after the period ends, with top-ups lasting 12 months. If your usage is bursty — nothing for six weeks, then a heavy fortnight — that rule can quietly cost you more than the sticker price suggests.

Where uooki is the better pick

Two differences do most of the work. The first is the floor: $9.9/mo billed yearly against $25/mo. For an individual building on a budget, that is a materially different cost profile.

The second is scope. Lovable builds web apps. uooki runs the same conversation-to-product loop across web apps, research reports, dashboards, slide decks and documents — so "build me a dashboard from this spreadsheet, then write up what it shows" is one thread rather than two tools. If everything you make is a web app, that breadth is not worth paying for. If half your work is research and documents, it is the whole reason to switch.

The honest limit, same as everywhere else on this site: uooki produces web applications, not native iOS or Android binaries. Neither tool submits to an app store.

How to run a fair trial before you switch

Both tools have a free tier, so this costs nothing but an hour. Run the same brief through both and compare on these four things rather than on the first screenshot:

Give both the same non-trivial brief

Something with real behaviour — a form that validates and stores, a table that filters, a page with a working toggle. A static marketing page looks great out of both and tells you nothing about which one you should pay for.

Count the revision rounds, not the first result

The first output is never what you ship. What matters is how many follow-up messages it takes to get from "close" to "correct", because that is what your credits actually get spent on.

Break it on purpose

Ask for a change that contradicts something earlier in the conversation. Watch whether the tool asks, silently drops the earlier requirement, or quietly rebuilds the whole thing. That behaviour will not change once you are paying.

Check what you keep

Before you commit a year, find out what happens when you stop paying: what stays live, what you can export, and whether unused credits survive. Lovable publishes an explicit credit-expiry rule.

Frequently asked

Is there a cheaper alternative to Lovable?
Yes. Priced on 2026-07-29, uooki Starter is $9.9/mo billed yearly against Lovable Pro at $25/mo. Emergent Standard is $20/mo billed annually and Replit Core is $20/mo billed annually. All four have a free tier you can judge output on before paying.
What does Lovable cost?
From its pricing page on 2026-07-29: Free at $0, Pro at $25/mo with 100 monthly credits, Business at $50/mo with 100 Business credits plus team workspace and SSO, and Enterprise on volume-based pricing. Yearly billing is advertised as two months free.
Do Lovable credits expire?
Lovable states monthly credits expire two months after they are issued, annual credits expire one month after the period ends, and purchased top-up credits last 12 months.
Can uooki do everything Lovable does?
No. Lovable has deeper team-management features — per-member credit limits, role-based access, SSO, a security centre — that uooki does not match. uooki covers more output types (reports, dashboards, decks, documents alongside web apps) at a lower entry price. Pick on which axis matters to you.

What uooki ships, if you want to judge it yourself

The fairest way to compare two builders is to look at the output. These are real published sessions — the cover is the page itself, and opening one replays every step the agent took.
