Kling 4.0

Kling (4.0)

Kling's newest model, animating a first frame at 720p. Kling 4.0 — image-to-video from a first frame; a single upstream route.

Using Kling 4.0 in uooki

uooki has no model picker. You name the model in the conversation and the agent routes to it — “make the clip with Kling 4.0” is the whole interface. Common spellings and older ids resolve to the same model, so you do not have to match our internal naming.

Leave the model out and the agent picks one for you based on what you asked for. Naming it is for when you have a reason to — this page is about those reasons.

What it is good at

  • Animating one strong still into a short clip
  • Scenes that need stable motion and a sense of camera
  • Trying the newest Kling generation next to V3

Where it is not the right pick

It takes one first frame and no reference images. It runs on a single upstream route (fal) with no failover, and the upstream price may change. uooki runs it at 720p.

When to reach for something else

  • Kling V3

You want a route with failover and a lower price.

  • Kling O3

The same character has to hold across shots, with several reference images.

  • Seedance 2.5

You have a pile of reference material and want sound.

Model id

What uooki calls upstream when you pick Kling 4.0. You never need this to use it — it is here so the vendor name and the actual model are unambiguous.
